LIMITED RELEASE: Hua Meuang Region Coffee - New for 2025!
We are excited to introduce our latest offering, Hua Meuang Region Natural Process. This unique coffee is crafted in collaboration with first-time coffee farmers, and processed at our new wet mill located in the southwestern region of Houaphan Province.
The traditional clothing of this area features colorful checkered patterns in pink, blue, and green, and we’re reflecting the artistic heritage of this special community in sharing this coffee with you.
This coffee slowly ripened under a natural shade canopy, and was selectively hand-picked. Coffee cultivation provides a key alternative to low-income crops that require slash-and-burn practices, and protects the biodiversity found in lush forests. After picking. the coffee cherries were washed clean with fresh mountain water, and placed on raised drying beds, with peel and fruit intact. The coffee was dried in the sun for 3-4 weeks until reaching optimum moisture content. The result is a coffee with a fruity and sweet flavor.
